A top 5 that is so near and dear to my nerdy heart! Old classics and new and exciting trends, get out your controllers and Mountain Dew and game on!
5. World of Warcraft
Open world, social and ever evolving. If I didn't include this game I would have to admit that the past six years of my life have been lived in vain. There is however a time and place for WoW. Not showering and living off of adrenaline and cereal is no way to live. Play responsibly!
4. Age of Conan
Terribly underrated in my opinion. The graphics were stellar for the time and the set up of day/night dungeons was an exciting concept offering completely different types of gameplay.
3. Everquest
The ultimate social MMO that will having you trying to auto run while driving. Remember to greet people with a Hail! Downside: There is so much social interaction built-in to this game that it has been said it contains a little too much ever and perhaps not even quest. To each his own I suppose.
2. Battlefield
Who says you have to wield a sword and a sweet Legolas inspired hairdo to play online? Well not this guy! Try your trigger finger at this strategy based, brothers in arms game and enjoy a reprieve from fantasy.
1. Destiny
Oh the platforms, oh the raids, oh the possibilities. It shouldn't come as surprise that Destiny is #1 right now. It has all of your favorite features with an excellent story line and an awesome open world.
